True Launch Bar – Alternative to the Quick Launch Bar
Let me ask you a simple question: Are you fed up with the traditional Quick Launch Bar in Windows and would like to use something else instead? If you answered “Yes, I do want something that is different than the default Quick Launch Bar” then you are in luck.
You are in luck because you found True Launch Bar, an application developed by Tordex that provides all the functionality you’ve come to expect from the Quick Launch Bar. But True Launch Bar spices things up by adding a few more items to the mix. For example with True Launch Bar you can combine shortcuts into groups, thus saving space on the desktop.
You can drag and drop pretty much any shortcut to the True Launch Bar. You can add printers, networks to the True Launch Bar, and you can control them from the bar.
If you want to change the way this application looks, you can always apply a new skin and make it look more appealing.
Should you decide to get True Launch Bar and put it through its paces, there are a few more things you need to know. First of all you need to know that the download weighs in at close to 5MB. Once the download completes, you need to install True Launch Bar – in this regard you need to know that the application works with all versions of the Microsoft-developed operating system, including Windows 7. You cannot use True Launch Bar free of charge for as long as you want. You can use it free of charge only during the 30-day trial period. Once this period is over, you need to pay for a license. The upside is that the license is quite affordable.
True Launch Bar is a Quick Launch Bar alternative that’s skinable and can put shortcuts into groups. Its very easy to use and can be configured to your will.
